According to Eklund, new teams are reportedly interested in the services of winger Patrik Laine. Ek is reporting the Blackhawks, Hurricanes, Islanders, and Utah HC.
Patrik Laine has had himself a highlight reel summer to remember. He has been cleared from the NHLPA and is eligible to play in the 24-25 season. He has two years left at $8.7M. His house is also listed for sale in central Ohio.
Mock trades and other insiders have also reported Pittsburgh, Calgary, Montreal, and Buffalo interested in Laine.
It was announced this week that he and his fiancé have launched a new mental health initiative called From Us to You.
Laine has also been spotted working out and training with the NFL Cleveland Browns in northeastern Ohio.
