The typically boisterous matinee crowd at the Bell Centre remained quiet and uninspired by the play of the Canadiens on Saturday afternoon. Habs supporters did come to life to serenade the home club with 'boos' as the clock expired on a 4-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils.

A lack of offense, miscues in the defensive zone and weak goaltending all conspired to sink the Canadiens in their penultimate game before the February break.
