JUst watching TSN and Sportsnet and its amazing how they mention all of Team Canada in high regard and just say things like, “And Konecny at least works hard” or “If Ekblad had any kind of season Sanheim wouldn’t have backed into this team.”

Seriously?

First off, Konnecy is 15th in scoring in the NHL, number one in shorthand goals over the last year…. Every other player in the top 25 scorers who could be in this tournament, because they belong to one of these four countries, is in this tournament..TK is top ten in November.

Also Konecny can easily play up and down the lineup which is vital in short turneys like this one…

Travis Sanheim is 23rd in scoring among defenseman, but of the top 50 Only Wernski and Josi have more Time on Ice and Josi only only by four seconds a game.

To say they belong on Team Canada is an understatement…
