ANAHEIM DUCKS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVE

ANAHEIM, Calif. �" The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled defenseman Kent Huskins from the Portland Pirates, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Huskins, 27 (5/4/79), was recalled earlier this season from Portland (AHL) on Dec. 21 and collected 0-1=1 point with six penalty minutes (PIM) in 13 games with Anaheim. He was reassigned to Portland on Jan. 24. In 39 games with Portland this season, Huskins collected 3-12=15 points with 23 PIM and a +3 rating.

Huskins signed as a free agent on August 22, 2005. He was originally drafted by Chicago in sixth round (156th overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
