Most of you selected Bowen Byram in our latest draft.
I will say, from what I’ve heard, the Hawks are looking at taking Alex Turcotte.
Could they take someone else? Of course, I heard last year that Oliver Wahlstrom was their guy… then when it was their turn to draft at 8th, they took Adam Boqvist.
This is a little different because they have whomever them want after Hughes and Kakko.
They know who they want and I’ve heard it’s Turcotte. We’ll see.
This blog is designed to keep you all up to date on the draft today and who the Hawks take.
Also, if there are any updates in terms of trades and/or rumors, I will be here to update.
Right now, I know there’s a lot of chatter around the league, but I’m not sure what the Hawks are up to specifically. I thought I would hear more today, but nothing yet.
Eklund has the Hawks chatting to Vegas about William Karlsson. The speedy Swedish winger actually makes some sense for Chicago but might cost to much to acquire / to sign.
I will be updating on here as the day goes on.
Check back often… I would be shocked if the Hawks don’t make a move this weekend.
