As we gear up for the next phase in Wild makeover who is it that you want to see, why, and how would they fit in?

The list of possibilities is interesting to say the least.

Joe Pavelski does not fit the youth movement, however does increase the win now model and could help attract additional pieces.

Anders Lee, the Minnesota product has the tools the Wild need and could make a significant impact on Jordan Greenway's progress and also on 1st round pick Mathew Boldy.

What about Corey Perry? We know the Wild need significant help on the right side. I know Perry's best production days are behind him, however wasn't that similar to what was said about Eric Staal three years ago? Perry is more than just the goal production though as he is a leader and a player that is tremendous at getting his team going while agitating his opponents consistently.

Does Fenton make a move to add depth to the blueline, thus enabling him to possibly move Spurgeon or Brodin?

The fact that Jason Zucker was not moved at the draft is of course good news. Zucker is a valuable asset for the Wild and if he is moved then the return must be significant. I am glad the Fentin has not settled in his efforts to make any of the Wild assets.

Should be some fun days ahead as things continue to shake out.
