Super Kempe Bros & Arbitration |

Back with another quick one for you guys...
Rob Blake was active again today, signing Mario Kempe to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700K AAV at the NHL level.
The 30-year old Mario is the brother of Adrian and has 70 NHL games in two seasons under his belt with the Arizona Coyotes - where he racked up 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists), with 22 PIMs.
This is another move that falls in line with the narrative leading into this season. It's a low risk signing that adds depth upfront and will create competition for spots amongst the young guys and allows the Kings flexibility to move him up and down when needed.

Arbitration
In other news, Alex Iafallo has filed for arbitration. I'd imagine he'll sign before having to go through the process - as it's probably in both his and the Kings interest - but we'll just have to wait and see.
Check back to this blog if there's anymore moves. Just look for the
*UPDATE* verbiage in the title.
Have a good weekend, guys.
