Happy Monday Hockey World. I am still hearing a lot of rumblings regarding Marner and Laine this morning, but I came across this little rumor by accident and the more people I ask about it the more smoke there appears to be something going on...

A source yesterday confirmed that Arizona, who has suddenly gotten quite aggressive, has told the NJ Devils of their interest in Taylor Hall, should the Devils and Hall decide to part ways...that is not the most interesting part of this though...

The Devils and Calgary Flames have already, quietly discussed a contingency plan for this scenario...and coming back to NJ as part of the deal would be South Jersey native Johnny Gaudreau.

Would that deal pass the Hockeybuzz community test?
