The Avalanche on Tuesday announced they’ve signed forward Vladislav Kamenev, who was a restricted free agent, to a one-year contract for the upcoming season.

Two restricted free agents, Mikko Rantanen and A.J. Greer, remain unsigned.

Injuries have hampered Kamenev’s development. He missed 52 games with a shoulder injury last season and 50 games in 2017-18 with a broken arm.

Kamenev, 22, had two goals and three assists in 23 games last year, one assist in two games with the AHL Colorado Eagles.

Kamenev, who is 6-feet-2, 194 pounds, was Nashville’s second-round pick (No. 42) in the 2014 NHL draft. The Avalanche acquired him on Nov. 5, 2017 in the multiplayer, three-team trade that sent Matt Duchene to Ottawa.

He has 105 points (39 goals, 66 assists) in 146 career AHL games with Milwaukee, San Antonio and the Eagles.
