Updates on Laine and Provorov |

Patrik Laine came out today unhappy that there have been no talks with the Jets. I hear that both Montreal and the Islanders have tried to trade for him but Winnipeg is not interested in moving him at this point.
There is a similar stalemate STILL going on between Ivan Provorov and the Flyers. A source told me today, "It would be a surprise at this point if anything gets done before September, and the crucial point is probably going to come VERY close to the start of training camp." Things are apparently a little further along on the Travis Konecny front, and a deal is possibly by around Labor Day.
