A quick stop at home for the Wild, just long enough to make a quick check in at home do the laundry and pack up for the next leg of the seemingly never ending road trip which has been the Wild season to date. Combine that with the fact that they are 1-8-0 in the one road games and the outlook is not good for this struggling Wild team.
Tonight it's the back end of the home and home with the Blues following the 2-1 defeat in St. Louis on Wednesday night.
We have talked long and hard about what the Wild are and the things that need to take place if something is going to change. None of which has occurred and we have the same old same old night after night.
I do expect the Wild to play a more inspired game tonight because at home they have been an entirely different team. That said an inspired showing tonight will only add to the frustration that is the Minnesota Wild.
It's true what they say...."the waiting is the hardest part".
