The 2nd month of the KHL season has been played and the league has announced the best players for the month of October.

Sibir’s five-game winning streak, with the Finn goalie between the piping, allowed the Novosibirsk side to reach the third position in the Eastern Conference standings.

The best forward was Vadim Shipachyov (Dynamo Moscow), who won 8 of 12 games with his team, scoring 15 (3+12) points (best figure in October) with a plus-9 rating. In the Oct. 29 game against Avangard, Shipachyov posted the lone goal of the match.
