Arizona Coyotes GM John Chayka attended a KHL game between SKA St.Petersburgh and Dinamo Riga on Sunday.

Chayka is in Europe, taking a look and having preliminary talks with some of the potential, future Coyotes.

A source has suggested the executive is keeping a close eye on SKA's forward Alexander Barabanov who scored a beauty in the game vs Riga.

SKA defenceman Artem Zub and Anton Burdasov who didn't manage to earn a full-time job following a PTO with Edmonton Oilers.

Per agent Shumi Babaev - Burdasov wanted to sign a one-year deal at around 1.2 - 1.5mil with the Oilers. When that fell through - the player had a backup plan with an American team in the NHL but Burdasov decided to return to KHL for another season. I have belief that the team was indeed the Arizona Coyotes.

Chayka also met with Russian hockey agent Dan Milstein.
