The Edmonton Oilers have until December 1 to move Jesse Puljujarvi if he is to return to the NHL to play this year. Montreal, NY Rangers, and Winnipeg have made some calls, but nothing seems imminent and Puljujarvi is starting to tell people he is planning on spending the entire season in Finland...
A few NHL teams feel that this could change and believe this is more along the lines of Edmonton and Ken Holland trying to get as much as possible for Puljujarvi. One source feels that Edmonton could be close to a possible deal, but to get the most out of their asset it benefits Holland that teams think he doesn't need to make a deal this year.
