Coyotes to Face Even More Shorthanded Jackets

The Coyotes will look to pick up an easy two points tonight against the Blue Jackets.

Not only are the Jackets one of the worst teams after their strongly advised and highly worthy attempt to go for it last season (seriously, why not?) they have a bit of a lite roster this year.

Like all lite beers, it is terrible.

And now, with Zach Werenski out for a month, they are even worse.

But things are not all bad in Columbus.

Seth Jones is the kind of player you build around.

Werenski, Dubois are just a step while Wenberg, Milano and Texier are all solid complimentary pieces.

If they had a goalie and some forwards, a Jones, Savard, Murrary, Werenski blue line is pretty awesome too.

If they get lucky in next year's draft, they could be good again in no time.

As for the Coyotes they have lost three of their last four and four of their last six.

They get goaltending, they don't score.

The last time they scored four goals that didn't involve a shoot out was October 25th.

Perhaps they should trade for Taylor Hall.

It's not a terrible idea to go for it at this time. They aren't going to get goaltending like this forever, so might as well bet on it continuing for the rest of the year and try to make something happen.

That's it!
