The Pageau rumors are picking up a lot this morning. As is becoming increasingly the case, teams are offering up players early in an effort to land more for them. So far I have seen this from NJ, Ottawa, and Detroit.

The latest team to get in on Pageau is Montreal. The Habs are in need of a quick influx of energy and JGP may be what the doctor ordered. However, I continue to hear more and more that Pageau, who was actually born in Ottawa, is not opposed to signing an extension and continuing to play for his Hometown Sens...

On Sami Vatanen...

Starting to hear the Oilers with a serious interest in Sami Vatanen...the Oilers and NJ continue to talk a lot...and Taylor Hall is also included in those talks.

On the Leafs Backup Search...

I continue to hear Ryan Miller to Toronto...Miller may love SoCal, but he also would love a serious shot at a Stanley Cup.
