Wild Seek Revenge on Rival Jets

Revenge on their minds the Wild look to end their two game home losing streak and three of four, against the team that waxed them 6-0 to begin the home skid.

Typically the Wild and Jets play very tight games with the winning margin usually with a goal or two. Winnipeg is an upper echelon offensive squad that appears to on paper to be much better than their record would indicate. Especially of late where they have won just two of their most recent eight which does include the aforementioned 6-0 drubbing of the Wild.

A few days off for the Wild since the New Year's eve loss to Toromto, Boudreau and his team have had time to practice and reset.

Devan Dubnyk will be back between the pipes today against the Jets as Stalock took the brunt of the 6-0 defeat a few weeks back.

Joel Eriksson Ek is also back and the captain as well which has the Wild lines back intact minus of course, Jaso. Zucker.

The home stretch has not gone as planned thus far and in order for the Wild and if they are to make a move and assert themselves as a playoff contender that needs to turn around beginning today with a win over Winnipeg.

Hoping that this is a preview of the 2021 Winter Classic as the border battle would be truly amazing with an atmosphere that would rival that of this year's classic in Big D where the Predators fans traveled enmass to support their squad in hostile territory. Winnipeg would do the same and most likely on a grander scale.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
