Since Tallon has taken over the Panthers haven’t been afraid to go big or bold...I continue to hear they have strong interest in Gostisbehere, and Flyers management is very unhappy with what they feel is a backslide into bad first period habits.

You aren’t alone on this one. Blashill is safe according to everyone who is willing to go on the record right now. Yzerman is outstanding at controlling the message and the area media is willing to look the other way for now...I am not convinced that this offseason Yzerman doesn’t look another way. Why would you bring someone new into this situation right now?

Here's a good one: what the Ek is going on with terrible NHL teams having equally bad farms in the A this year? B. Devils, Barracuda, Griffins, Reign, Monsters are all sub-500 teams. Things look bleak, but in your opinion, which NHL team has the biggest hole to dig out of?

Best question so far...a brilliant blog idea I may steal..I feel the Devils probably have the biggest hole to dig out of. The Monsters have been a huge success in the past few years, but whenever you get that many guys to move up into the NHL. Each AHL team is a completely unique case because success at the AHL level can be gotten by bringing in some career AHLers..

I need to do more research on this one for sure..Its another great blog idea..I do feel the Rangers situation in net is perhaps the biggest problem right now. I don’t know enough else yet, but I promise to get back to you with this in blog form and pass along the credit for the idea..

Over the last calendar year the Blues are the best team in the NHL by far...123 points in the year 2019...and a Stanley Cup. They won’t move anyone when they are this good and have this much chance at repeating…
