The Carolina Hurricanes announced yesterday night that they’ve signed Justin Williams to a one-year contract.

The deal brings Williams back to the Hurricanes for the remainder of the year and carries a $700,000 cap hit. It also includes up to $1.3 million in bonuses.

Williams had 23 goals and 53 points last season with Carolina. In his last eight seasons prior to the 2019-20 season, he had missed just three games.

For a full review of thoughts on the signing, you can read a post I made amidst the rumours of the return, found here.
