It's a new year and new decade and I am launching my new business idea next week: a chain of coffee shops in Canada called Jim Thorton's.

Other things I'm doing are once again trying to quick smoking cigarettes and trying to quell my addiction to buying CDs.

But maybe I won't work so hard on that one. Every day you don't smoke is basically a free CD you can buy yourself. So let's just see what happens.

Another thing I am doing is working on a board game I created, so if you're interested in that, I'd like to run the game by a few people and see if they think it sounds fun. Of course I think it's good, but I invented it and I'm yet to invent something i didn't consider amazing.

This includes the NSFW comic book I published last year (sold a combined total of 58 Copies!! Usually get a nice 48 cents royalty payment every month too!) and my soon to be self-published debut novel.

In hockey, the Coyotes won their fourth straight game. Even crazier: they have 15 goals in their last three games.

Taylor Hall has been a revelation.

In ten games he has a 53% possession rating and a 56% expected goals rating. An on-ice shooting percentage of 6% is really suppressing his totals, but the scoring will come with time.

He's got 4 even strength points in ten games, and eight points in total. Considering the low shooting percentage, that's excellent production.

Hall has spent most of his time so far with Christian Dvorak and they've put together a 62% possession rating when both on the ice.

Where you hoping I'd post a list of my 50 best records of the 2010s? If so, you're in luck!

If they released a physical copy, I'd have included the fake rap album by Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire on that list. High too, like top ten.

As for the best movie, I'd say Bridemaids or Boyhood was best.

Best book was Jonathan Franzen's Freedom or David Foster Wallace Pale King. I also like Stephen King's 11-23-63 and Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl.

Hockey. Hockey. Sports. Best NHL players of the decade were Jake Gardiner, Cody Franson, David Runblad and Darcy Kuemper.

Best saying is saying stuff is Trill.

If you're not busy, google "front-hand, back-hand."

That's all I got !

Happy New Years
