The last time we checked in, our heroes were in peril.

They had dropped four of five, and had recently lost to the Senators of Ottawa (a team that is ironically not located in Ottawa, nor is it made up of any senators).

Losing to the Ottawa Senators is the NHL equivalent of losing to your son in a game of knee hockey (I should know - "It's because you gave it away , LIKE A DUD," he told me).

But that was last week and this is this week.

The Coyotes are now on a two game winning streak, having beat one of the best teams in hockey - the Washington Capitals, and also, the New York Islanders.

The Coyotes beating the Islanders was like in a video game where you have to defeat yourself to move on, since they too are a bad team propped up by ridiculous goaltending.

Coyotes won two games, right, they must be doing awesome - but hang on.....your boy Annti Raanta was over .960 in both games.

That's how you do it.

You get goaltending like that and you don't need to do anything else but show up.

Speaking of goalies, Craig Morgan tweeted that the Kuemper injury saga is on going. He re injured himself last week, though not seriously. Morgan says he's on the ice but still not playing.

That means Raanta is going tonight. Correction, It's Hill tonight, Rants tomorrow.

That's against Dallas and St. Louis respectively.

The Coyotes are down to fifth in the division, but a win tonight could tie them for first.

And they say there's no parody in the NHL (seriously, you should see my intermission youtubes that I do dressed up like Brian Burke (it's just me sitting under a mop yelling at a plant, don't even bother looking it up).

I also do a great J.R - but since I don't have any co-workers I can make uncomfertable it's not that good of an impression.

That it! Go Yotes!
