It's not an easy task to make an all-time team. There's been a lot of great players over the years and there will no doubt be arguments over the list.
Having a little fun this morning (before jumping into the reality of work) and threw together a little idea...
Keep in mind that this is not really based on numbers/stats, so much, as it is a combo of guys I think have made an impact on the organ-I-zation and players I like from the past and present.
Huberdeau - Jokinen - Bure
Booth - Barkov - Mellanby
Whitney - Weiss - Niedermayer
Worrell - Skrudland - Jagr
Jovanovski - Bouwmeester
Murphy - Svehla
Campbell - Laus
Beezer - Luongo
I like the idea of a pass-happy guy like Huby playing with a shoot-first guy like Jokinen and having the speedy/skilled Bure on the other side.
While it's not really a fit, the aged-but-still-very-talented Jagr bringing some skill to that fourth line is cool - though he won't be getting much support, HA! Hey, maybe Worrell opens up the ice for him to be able to work better..?
There's a lot of other guys like MacKenzie, Lindsey, Kozlov, Horton, etc., etc...from the Panthers past that can be injected into a lineup like this, so I'd love to hear/see what you guys put together.
Best Goals So Far
We're all missing hockey, so why not fill the void a bit with close to seven minutes of the best goals scored (so far) this season by your Cats?? Enjoy!
