Every article, I try to include a poll question for readers to vote on, then review the results from the week’s polls every weekend. It's been a while since I've done a review, but here are the poll results from the last few weeks and my thoughts on how they turned out.

QUESTION: Is Tobias Bjornfot the Kings’ best defense prospect?

(Votes: 86)

Yes: 86%
No: 14%

Bjornot made an impact in the AHL at just 18 years old and in just a year since being drafted, he will already be pushing for a roster spot next season. He certainly seems to have the most upside of any defense prospects the Kings have and there’s not much doubt that Bjornfot will develop into a solid top-four defenseman.

QUESTION: What do you expect from the Kings in free agency?

(Votes: 167)

Minor signings: 69%
Nio signings: 23%
Major signings: 8%

I have to agree with this and I think it’s a low percentage chance that the Kings even sign more than one player who will start the year in the NHL. As I’ve said, I think a veteran defenseman who could play with Drew Doughty for a year or two would be the only notable signing the Kings could make.

QUESTION: Thoughts on hiring John Wroblewski?

(Votes: 107)

Like it: 79%
Don’t feel strongly either way: 17%
Don’t like it: 5%

To me, this seems like a great hire. Wroblewski has a history with successfully developing prospects and he’s already worked with Alex Turcotte before, which will certainly be a benefit for Turcotte's development.

QUESTION: Should the Kings look to trade any of their draft picks this year?

(Votes: 189)

Yes: 43%
Only if a good opportunity presents itself: 41%
No: 16%

Considering how deep the prospect pool already is and how many picks the Kings have accumulated, I certainly think they should at least be making some calls. I don’t necessarily think they need to make a trade but they have the assets to do so.

QUESTION: What’s your NHL projection for Samuel Fagemo?

(Votes: 104)

Middle-six forward: 47%
Top-six forward: 37%
Bottom-six forward: 13%
Doesn’t make/stay in the NHL: 3%

Fagemo is a really solid forward prospect for the Kings but I don’t know that I’d bet on him becoming a top-six forward. His numbers in Sweden have been solid, though a bit stagnant this season and I could see Fagemo taking on a third-line role in a few years.

QUESTION: Are you happy with Austin Wanger’s contract?

(Votes: 89)

Yes: 85%
No: 15%

I already went over this but it’s not surprising to me to see so many people approving of the contract. They got a really good price considering the term and it has the potential to bring huge upside.
