The Los Angeles Kings have loaned prospect Jacob Moverare to SaiPa, a team in Finland’s highest professional league, for the 2020-21 season.

Moverare, a 22-year-old left handed defenseman, was a fourth-round pick by the Kings in the 2016 draft. He spent the 2019-20 season in the SHL, where he had seven goals and 19 points in 51 games, to go with a plus-17 rating. Moverare is a decent prospect for the Kings but is likely still a little ways away from pushing for a spot in the NHL.

I feel like short articles about loans are the only posts about the Kings that I’ve been writing, but that’s been pretty much the only news coming from the team. I’ll continue to provide updates when they come, as well as some longer, more in-depth articles in the near future.
