Fogarty Signed

Kevyn Adams made a savvy free agent signing on Monday when he inked forward Steve Fogarty to a one-year contract. Adams is hoping to get an immediate return on his $700,000 investment.

Fogarty has played the past four seasons of the NY Rangers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. Forgarty, 27, scored 13 goals and 24 assists in 54 games last season and has accumulated 50 goals and 80 assists in 252 AHL games.

The Notre Dame University product has 18 regular-season games of NHL service with the Rangers.

At 6'3" and 210 lbs., Fogarty will add immediate value to the Rochester Amerks in 2020-21. He recorded 13 goals and 30 points in 54 contests while captaining Hartford last season.
Fogarty was a third round selection of the Rangers (2011).

Fogarty won a CCHA championship as a freshman with the Fighting Irish and went on to serve as the team’s captain as a junior and senior. Fogarty scored 27 goals and 38 assists in 150 career NCAA games.

Fogarty played in seven regular-season games for the New York Rangers in 2019-20 and made his NHL postseason debut on August 3 at Carolina.



The Chambersburg, PA native played his high school hockey for Edina High (Minnesota) then played for the Chicago Steel (USHL) and the Penticton Vees (BCHL) before enrolling at Notre Dame University.
