Connor Brown’s signing of a 3 year, $3.6M AAV has taken another key forward off the market. I really like this deal for Brown and the Senators. I have to say I love most of what Ottawa has been doing this off-season.

Hoffman is still sitting out there and waiting for what Vancouver can do to clear some salary cap space. It will be interesting to see if any of the other teams who were looking at Brown may try and jump in on Hoffman now that options at forwards are thinning.
