The Carolina Hurricanes have made two more minor moves, signing goaltender Antoine Bibeau and forward Drew Shore. Each player's contract is one year and carries a $700,000 AAV.

Bibeau is 26 years old and played only four games last season– two NHL games with the Colorado Avalanche and two AHL games with the Colorado Eagles.

This was a result of injury trouble, as Bibeau had surgery on both hips. In the season prior, he had a .904 save percentage in 35 AHL games with the San Jose Barracuda.

Shore is 29 years old and has spent the last three seasons playing in Europe. He hasn’t played in the NHL since the 2016-17 season, when he suited up for 14 games with the Vancouver Canucks.

In 94 career NHL games, Shore has scored nine goals and 26 points and managed four goals and 27 points in 43 games in the KHL this past season. He’s likely to either spend the season in the AHL or as a spare with the Hurricanes.
