The ninth overall pick. Marco Rossi, has signed his 3-year entry level contract, Bill Guerin announced today.

With that out of the way the next step is for Rossi to compete for a roster spot with the Wild for the upcoming season. It would be great to see the kid earn his way into the Wild lineup. The Wild fans have had very little to look forward to as far as far as prospects that can make an immediate and significant impact.

If Rossi can find his way into the lineup he would join Kirill Kaprizov, giving the Wild a dynamic duo of rookies and providing the long dtarved Wild faithful with hope for what the future holds.

It's not the same old Wild anymore...
