Normalcy went out the window sometime in March and it has yet to return unfortunately… Not only are we dealing with a pandemic, but last night, normally quiet Quebec City was shaken to its core. On Halloween night, a man walked around Quebec, dressed up in a medieval costume with a sword and well, he just randomly attacked people. When all was said and done, he killed 2 and injured another 5, could this year get any more awful? I think we’ve all had quite enough, and we could use the entertainment, so here’s a little recap of the Habs’ Halloween.

For me, Brendan Gallagher wins the day, not because of the way he dressed up (I don’t think he did), but he did share one little fan’s costume on his Facebook page and it cracked me up:

As for Jeff Petry, the family man went full on children’s tale with the Little Red Ridding Hood and the Three Little Pigs:

Meanwhile, Carey and Angela Price opted for the Wizard of Oz. Price himself was the Tin Man (funny considering he definitely doesn’t lack heart), his wife was the Wicked With of the West, his oldest daughter grabbed the part of Dorothy, his youngest was the Good Witch of the South and newborn Lincoln was the lion.

I’m obligated to give best costume to the Byron family however, the geek in me loved this Star Wars effort featuring Darth Vader, Princess Leia, the kids as a Storm Trooper and the Mandalorian and finally, the icing on the cake, a dog as BB-8:

As for Jesperi Kotkaniemi, while his teammates were enjoying the Halloween festivities, he played another game, this time against Karpat and that was another loss. KK logged in 18:49 minutes of ice-time, took 6 shots, completed 11 of his 13 passes and had a 50% success rate in the faceoff circle. It really is a shame that none of his teammates can complete his plays…
