I think we can all agree a November without NHL hockey is pretty rough. Especially now with the virus spiking again....we need some hope.

Today, with news that the Pfizer Vaccine is running at a 90% effective rate, there is some renewed hope of hockey games with fans in the seats once again...and this is wonderful news for some franchises who really can't play much of the season without selling tickets.

The timeline for vaccinations is what this is all about. The spring is when the general public is expected to start to get vaccinated, and with playoffs tickets being such a huge source of revenues I am told it is entirely possible that the NHL could have the regular season end right up against the late July start of the Japan Olympics (if those Olympics aren't pushed another year) and then the playoffs could start in August/Sept/Oct with fans in the seats.

The NBA has already announced a shortened season, but the NHL has been steadfast about playing 82 games...Is that a done deal? Sources tell me no. All options are still on the table, but we should hear the plans for the next NHL season "prior to American Thanksgiving."

So my question to you...

What do you want to see in the next NHL season?
When should it start and end?
Are you ok with a season without fans?

Rumors and Chart Updates to come....
