Flyers 2019 first-round pick Cam York did record a point for the first time in the young season but played a strong all-around game in Michigan's 2-1 overtime road win over Wisconsin on Friday night. The Wolverines are now 4-0-0 on the season after sweeping the Badgers on Thursday and Friday. York has five points (1g, 4a) on the season to date. Michigan plays next Friday and Saturday, hosting Notre Dame.

Over in the QMJHL, Flyers 2020 fifth-round pick Elliot Desnoyers recorded one assist, three shots on goal and went 15-for-30 on faceoffs on Friday night as his Halifax Mooseheads team took one point away from a 4-3 shootout loss to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Desnoyers was unable to score on his shootout attempt in the first round. The Mooseheads are back in action on Saturday, hosting Charlottetown.
