The Carolina Hurricanes won’t face the Nashville Predators for the second night in a row, with the game postponed, shown in the statement below.

According to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun, the issue involves a COVID situation with the Hurricanes. No decision has been made as to when the game will be rescheduled for.

The two teams met yesterday, in what was each team’s third game of the season. The Hurricanes took a 4-2 win, with goals from Sebastian Aho, Nino Niederreiter, Andrei Svechnikov and Vincent Trocheck, as well as a 31-save performance from James Reimer.

Carolina’s next game is scheduled for Thursday against the Florida Panthers.
