The Los Angeles Kings will have some changes to the lineup when they face the Colorado Avalanche tonight, which includes Lias Andersson making his debut with the Kings.
Todd McLellan confirmed that Petersen gets the nod in net, while Carl Grundstrom and Lias Andersson will make their season-debuts tonight up front.
Andersson was acquired in the offseason from the New York Rangers. He was selected seventh overall in the 2017 NHL Draft and has three goals and nine points in 66 career NHL games.
Carl Grundstrom is also expected to make his season debut tonight, while goaltender Cal Petersen is expected to make his first start of the season tonight, in place of Jonathan Quick. Grundstrom had four goals in 13 NHL games last season, while Petersen managed a .922 save percentage in eight games.
