This year's NHL Trade Deadline is perhaps the least predictable I've covered in over a decade..
On the one hand, there is not as much motivation for the borderline teams to get out and spend, but on the other hand, there are reasons that this deadline could shock us...
* The Expansion Draft is coming and the amount of time between the end of the season and the expansion draft is highly compressed. Since the Expansion Draft comes before the NHL Draft trades to shore up things will have to happen in a hurry.
* We have more set sellers than ever before...The market is generally full of buyers, but there is a belief that we will see more definitive and early sellers than EVER.
* We are seeing a few top teams with some cap space. Very rare.
