The Los Angeles Kings will have a chance to extend their winning streak to six games and sweep their series against the St. Louis Blues tonight, after winning the first meeting of the series by a score of 3-0.
The Kings had a relatively strong performance overall in Monday's game. That said, it’s a trend that Los Angeles’ goalies will have to be very good just about every night. Jonathan Quick was certainly on his game and earned his shutout, as the Blues were getting tons of point-blank chances.
Sean Walker also made return to lineup, which was good to see. He certainly provides a boost for the Kings’ defense group.
The Kings are riding a hot streak and one of the most exciting things has been seeing how young players are adjusting. Mikey Anderson is already being used in a key role for the Kings, while the likes of Carl Grundstrom and Trevor Moore only seem to be getting more comfortable.
There shouldn’t be any lineup changes to the skater group tonight, according to LA Kings Insider’s Zach Dooley, though Cal Petersen could start.
