The Los Angeles Kings saw their winning streak come to an end last week and are reportedly looking to trade for a defenseman. Here's a recap of news and notes from last week.
KINGS WIN TWO OF FOUR GAMES
The Kings earned five of a possible eight points in four games last week. After sweeping the St. Louis Blues, the Kings managed just a single point in two games against the Minnesota Wild.
KINGS REPORTEDLY LOOKING FOR LEFT-HANDED DEFENSEMAN
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Kings are actively looking for a left-handed defenseman who is 25 years old or younger. He noted that general manager Rob Blake would be willing to do a ‘Ryan Johansen for Seth Jones’ type of deal.
WALKER RETURNS FROM INJURY
Defenseman Sean Walker returned to the Kings’ lineup last week, after missing nearly a month and undergoing surgery, as a result of taking a puck to the face. Walker played in all four of the team's games last week and now has two points in 11 games so far this season.
