A couple of interesting rumors flying around this morning.
The Flyers and Marc Staal
A lot of smoke around this in both Detroit and Philly. Flyers aren't sellers yet, but need to make a deal before tomorrow night's game on the Island.
Sam Bennett to Penguins (e3)
Bennett looks like he could be the first of the players to move out of Calgary and Brian Burke loves him. The Penguins are definitely leading the charge for Bennett. The Columbus Blue Jackets are also very interested in Bennett now and moving forward.
The Islanders....
The Isles #1 priority is Kyle Palmieri, but #2 may not be Taylor Hall, as has been reported... Two separate sources (one in Canada and one in LA) are saying that the Islanders have interest in Dustin Brown, from the Kings....Very similar to Anders Lee for sure.
On Taylor Hall's value...
Hall was held out last night and the Sabres definitely wanted it out there that the trade talks were heating up. I am not 100% buying it. The Sabres are trying to create a market that so far doesn't exist.
