Tonight, Jake Allen will get some much deserved and needed rest as he’s been taking on the bulk of the goaltending duties since Price has been out for two injuries in quick succession. Enter Cayden Primeau who will play his second game of the season, his first outing was against Calgary in a game for which most of the Habs didn’t turn-up. Let’s hope he gets better support tonight.
Secondly, Dominique Ducharme also confirmed that Erik Gustafsson will make way for Brett Kulak. The poor Kulak has been a healthy scratch since the arrival of Gustafsson and Merrill with the team after completing their mandatory quarantine, it will be his first game since April 19.
Finally, with injuries pilling up, the Habs have recalled Alex Belzile and Ryan Poehling to the taxi squad. Ducharme said that Belzile was there in case of unfortunate news injury wise and that Poehling was getting treatments today. The coach said he was hopeful that Armia would be able to play tonight but it’s unlikely that Weber will be back tonight.

Souhaitons-lui plus de support ce soir.

Finalement, avec les blessures qui s’accumulent, les Habs ont assigné Alex Belzile et Ryan Poehling à l’escouade de réserve. Ducharme a affirmé que Belzile est là en cas de mauvaises nouvelles au point de vue blessure et que Poehling recevait des traitements aujourd’hui. L’entraîneur espère qu’Armia sera en mesure de jouer ce soir mais c’est peu probable que Weber soit en mesure de revenir ce soir.
