For the first time in NHL history the Florida Panthers will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in a playoff series.. Both teams have had strong seasons, especially the Panthers, who have exceeded all expectations this season and spent a good part of the season as one of the top three teams in the NHL....

When the playoffs start, Kucherov and Stamkos will both magically be both healthy for the first time this season for Tampa. Yup. The Lightning may have the best team in the NHL and have also become the best team at playing the LTIR system...and sources at the NHL tell me the league has taken notice and there may be repercussions...

The Cup Champions were supposed to be destined for a Cap disaster, but not only did they avoid a major sell-off, they ADDED Savard at the deadline...

Meanwhile, the less talented, but hard-working Panthers are staying quiet...

Is this system failing? Should Tampa be allowed to do this?
