Over the past 6 games the Oilers have gone 4-2-0. Here are the players who have scored in those 6 games:

Draisaitl: 5G
McDavid: 3G
Barrie: 2G
Puljujarvi: 2G
Nurse: 2G
RNH: 1G
Neal: 1G
Bear: 1G
Archibald: 1G
Kahun: 1G
Bouchard: 1G

20 goals in 6 games is nothing to shake your head at and the top guys have certainly led the way but it would be good to see a few more names on that list and with a couple more goals. Kailer Yamamoto has done some great things this year but has struggled to score, RNH's issues have been discussed at length. Ryan McLeod has done good things since coming up but hasn't scored yet.

Over the remaining four games Dave Tippett will be looking for that perfect line combinations and some chemistry to click going into the post-season. Arguably playing a complete game and gaining some confidence is more important now than an actual win.

OILERS LINE COMBINATIONS

Kahun-McDavid-Puljujarvi
RNH-Draisaitl-Yamamoto
Neal-McLeod-Chiasson
Shore-Khaira-Archibald

Nurse-Barrie
Lagesson-Larsson

- Looks like Kulikov gets a night off as he was apparently banged up a bit.

CANUCKS LINE COMBINATIONS

Pearson-Horvat-Lind
Höglander-Miller-Boeser
Highmore-Graovac-Hawryluk
Vesey-Boyd-MacEwen

Edler-Schmidt
Hughes-Hamonic
Juolevi-Myers

Demko

4 GAME THOUGHTS

1.) Is This The Night?
With 4 games remaining and only 4 points needed, it seems like a given that Connor McDavid will hit the 100 point mark. The only question that remains is when. Should he put up 4 points in a game to do it, that would certainly be memorable.

2.) Split Them Up - Dave Tippett goes back to Draisaitl and McDavid separated. While RNH, Kahun and Yamamoto were doing some good things they were not able to score together, thus Tippett goes back to his stronger 1-2 punch.

3.) Stronger Start - For two games in a row not only have the Oilers given up a quick goal, but it was done against the Oilers top line. Regardless of who starts the game at centre ice, the Oilers need to come out strong and it should be a goal within the game to get the first shot on net themselves.

4.) Tired Nucks - The Canucks are unfortunately stuck playing a bunch of games right now that simply don't matter. If not for Koskinen's historic collapse I think Edmonton still wins the last game. Vancouver is only getting more tired and Edmonton needs to take advantage of that.
