The Nashville Predators last night clinched another trip to the playoffs in a way which, like a vintage Gibson Guitar, is classic and well-crafted.

The Predators in Nashville wasn't supposed to work, but it has actually has thrived. And David Poile has been there the entire time...which is truly no coincidence....

Poile has always kept the Preds competitive and always found the oddball players, like Luke Kunin, who last night scored the two goals that put the Preds back in the postseason...

Last night capped off a 19-7-1 run since March 15th for the Preds...and was the first time since the Pandemic that a crowd in the stands TRULY played a difference...With the score still 0-0 in the second the Smashville arena gave the Preds an incredibly loud Ovation that lasted the entire TV timeout...Seconds later Kunin scored to give Nashville the 1-0 lead.

There were many who said the Canes wanted to avoid Dallas and were fine losing this game...if that's true they may have just woken up a monster for the first-ever Tennessee-North Carolina MAJOR sports playoff.. The Preds got a playoff spot AND alot of their mojo back last night.
