Last week or so there has been a definite divide between the Sabres and their star Jack Eichel..Eichel wants to get somewhat experimental surgery on his neck, and the Sabres are obviously concerned.

But this might help things a little.

A source tells me that he has heard that former Rangers boss, Dave Quinn, is very likely to be the Sabres next head coach... Quinn was also head coach at Boston University in 14-15 when a freshman named Jack Eichel won the Hobey Baker as the teams went all the way to the College Hockey Final...

Quinn is a very solid coach, and obviously, this will make Eichel very happy indeed....however is he a big enough upgrade/name to move out Granato?
