The Seattle Kraken have called a press conference for 10am, Pacific Time this morning...

There was a ton of speculation earlier that Rick Tocchet was heading to Seattle...A move that made a lot of sense, however it has been confirmed that Tocchet is NOT the choice....

Ron Francis has done a solid job at keeping EVERYTHING involving the expansion team under wraps so far...including trades he has discussed with teams to allow them to keep certain players safe from the expansion draft...

Pierre LeBrun is now speculating that Dave Hakstol, former Flyers coach, may be the choice...That would be a major shift in style when it comes to what we saw in Vegas...Fast/quick hockey. Hakstol is a systems guy who likes to play complete defense and hold forwards more accountable.

He is a college coach who does work well with young players for sure...
