While we wait on RFA contract status for Detroit, an almost entire list of Seattle draft picks has been leaked. Detroit must have had Pampers Overnites, because there’s no leaks here yet.

Update - lists revealing that Dennis Cholowski has been selected by Seattle

More than a small surprise. Cholowski has roots in the area (Vancouver). His stock must be on the rise in the eyes of Seattle. Time will tell if DC develops into the defenseman that Ken Holland and staff believed displayed a high hockey I.Q. It’s bittersweet as all of the first round swapping has left Detroit with Hronek, who quickly passed Cholowski. Chycrun continues to impress, Nielsen is in the last year of his deal. The first round is officially a wash for that draft.

Here is the list so far.. Carey Price is safely still in Montreal. Landeskog will hit the open market. Go ahead and enjoy the read. As soon as Detroit’s pick is announced I’ll update the post. Unfortunately, scratch Vince Dunn off as a possible Red Wing. I really liked that idea, but unless Stevie has a trade in place he’ll be working the west coast.
