Back with more of our early predictions tomorrow, but I have been calling around for the last three days trying to get a grasp on what is coming next in this offseason..Teams have a lot still to do…this may be the off-season for the players, but Gms and team executives are clear about the fact that they are still very much in the busiest part of the seasons…

For the next phase to really pick up we have some dominos that need to fall for certain teams. There are even teams who are not concerned with Eichel or Tarasenko who are now being affected and growing annoyed…

Also, believe it or not, GMs very much want to tie up loose ends and get themselves a bit of a summer break, and today is August 1st. I fully expect this week to be very active…

Lets start with a look at where the dominos sit now, starting with one that appears to have fallen in the last few hours..

* Fleury ready to go…
Earlier today, Goalie Marc Andre Fleury informed Chicago that he will indeed report and be a proud member of the Chicago Blackhawks…

*The Capitals have been hard at work trying to find a taker for Evgeny Kuznetsov.
They have talked to the Blues about a swap with Tarasenko, but Armstrong has no desire for that move..The Kings are the team to watch here…

*NJ and the Blues trying to work a deal for Tarasenko,
but the word is the price remains high for Tarasenko, because the Blues are thinking of Vlad as sort of a “fallback plan” for teams who miss out of Eichel…so until Eichel happens, the Blues are willing to stick to the premium price tag thinking a team like the Rangers or Vegas could pay the price after losing out on Eichel.

*Eichel camp growing more and more frustrated…
Jack Eichels team released a statement that they expected s trade by this point and that the Sabres dragging their feet on allowing Jack to have the artificial disc replacement surgery is now jeopardizing Eichel being ready for the start of the season…

Back with more info as it becomes available…
