Get your translators ready. I’m still learning to use the web format for Frolunda H.C. Earlier today, the club lost their SHL opener after grabbing a 2-0 lead. Edvinsson is credited with an assist on the opening tally.
In just 5 days we’ll have prospects scores and action. For now, just brief summaries of some overseas action.
I spent a chunk of yesterday in the hospital (again). A huge thanks to Dr. Gupta and Dr. Kate and all the staff. No COVID concerns, just some more backlash from all the recent storms and the heart rate was a little unfriendly. I’m going to be in “stealth” mode while I recover today, but I’ll be in the saddle (possibly side saddle) as things spin into gear.
It’s good to see Edvinsson hit the score sheet early, as soon as I can get reports on TOI I’ll add those.
Red Wings TV visits with Oesterle in his Dearborn Heights home. Not sure where he’s at, but near Ford Rd and Telegraph is a Mr. Chicken, and it’s the 2nd greatest fried chicken place in Michigan. (Haabs in Ypsilanti is 1st). I doubt he’s allowed to eat it, but it’s worth the cheat day. The coleslaw is even phenomenal.
Here we go, promotional tidbit. Go to Haabs on Michigan Ave and Huron st in Ypsilanti. Ask for the owner, and mention this blog. He will stare at you blankly but will also be very polite. The staff there is amazing. (I doubt they read the blog). The “chicken in a basket” is a half fried chicken with shoestring fries and a biscuit. I can’t finish it, and the leftovers are amazing. Just a michigan gem.
