The New York Islanders have reportedly signed Andy Andreoff, Cole Bardreau, Otto Koivula, Paul LaDue and Dmytro Timashov, according to CapFriendly.com. All of the contracts will carry a $750,000 cap hit.

Andreoff is a 30-year-old forward and has played 179 career NHL games, spending time with both the Los Angeles Kings and Arizona Coyotes. This past season, Andreoff played six games with the Philadelphia Flyers and three games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Bardreau is a 28-year-old forward and has played 10 career NHL games, all with Islanders. He scored 10 goals and 16 points in 24 games with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers during the 2020-21 season. Unlike all of the other contracts announced, which are for one year, Bardreau’s deal is two years in length.

Koivula is a 23-year-old forward, who played 12 games with the Islanders during the 2019-20 season. This past year, he scored 11 points in 14 games while playing in Finland’s highest professional league and nine points in 20 AHL games.

LaDue is a 29-year-old defenseman who’s played in 69 career NHL games, all with the Los Angeles Kings. He scored eight points in 18 games with the AHL’s Hershey Bears during the 2020-21 season.

Timashov is a 24-year-old forward who originally signed with the Islanders ahead of last season. He played one game with the Islanders and 22 AHL games last season, scoring five goals and 11 points.
