The Golden Knights face off against the L.A. Kings tonight for game two of the regular season. Tonight will be an interesting test against a team that attempted to finish their rebuild this offseason. Capping it off by trading for Predators winger Victor Arvidsson and signing playoff hero Phillip Danault as their go-to shutdown center. Tonight will be a glance at whether they are ready to compete again.

The lines didn’t change much, but here they are:

Pacioretty—Stephenson—Stone
Marchessault—Karlsson—Smith
Dadonov—Patrick—Krebs
Dorofeyev—Kolesar—Coghlan

Martinez—Pietrangelo
McNabb—Theodore
Hague—Whitecloud

Lehner
Brossoit

Minor changes
The only change to these lines is a switching of sides for Dadonov and Krebs. Hopefully we see more from Krebs, but it’s getting harder to predict — He went pointless this season other than a four point game against the Avalanche. He’s scratching the surface of his potential; tonight will be another chance to get comfortable.

Eye on the forecheck
Chandler Stephenson mentioned a few weeks ago adjustments to the Golden Knights’ method of drawing turnovers when approaching the puck carrier down low. It will be interesting to see if they draw more turnovers down low,

Enjoy the game,
