Preds have re-assigned goalie Connor Ingram to Milwaukee and activated goalie David Rittich to the active 23-man roster off of the Covid protocol.

Although expected, it is disappointing to not have the opportunity to see Ingram continue to develop at the NHL level. But having two solid appearances against the Wild and the Oilers will serve him well as he will undoubtedly be a full-time NHLer sooner rather than later.

His time with the Preds saw him record a 1-1-0 record with a 3.02 GAA and .906 SV%. This may not look great, but the eye test on this young goalie most certainly provides better context than these numbers might. His performance last night against the Oilers alone, although a loss and giving up 4 goals on 29 shots, was superb on many levels with the defense leaving him out to dry on multiple occasions and McDavid, Draisaitl and Co. doing what they do.

The future is bright for this net minder and I am excited to see what it may hold for him.

The Preds take on Vancouver tomorrow night to complete their three game Western Canada trip before returning stateside for three more away games prior to returning home.

The Preds were able to steal a big win in Calgary before falling back to earth a bit last night in Edmonton. Major game tomorrow night in Vancouver where a win, and a point at minimum, would make this Western Canada swing a victory before lining up three division rivals on the way back to Nashville.

I hate to sound like a broken record but odd-man rushes and shots continue to be the major problem with this team. Not much further analysis is really needed other than that. The holes are evident and similar results will continue unless those are remedied.

Two quick side notes are that Forsberg is week-to-week after his injury in Calgary from colliding with Josi and Borowiecki is day-to-day after suffering an injury following his fight in Calgary.
