The NHL just announced that upcoming cross-border games have been postponed, meaning two of the San Jose Sharks’ upcoming games will be delayed.

The Sharks were scheduled to take on the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, followed by the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday but both matchups were among the postponed games. San Jose’s next game will now come on Monday, Dec. 27 against the Anaheim Ducks.

This means the Sharks will have had an 11-day break in between games, with their last game having come on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks. San Jose enters the holiday break with the sixth-best points percentage in the Pacific Division and a 15-14-1 record.
